The City’s draft General Plan (General Plan 2050) is here and ready for your review and feedback! General Plan 2050 includes goals, policies, and actions that will help shape the direction of Santa Rosa through 2050.

The Santa Rosa Forward team will be presenting to the Santa Rosa Bicycle and Pedestrian Advisory Board this Thursday, April 20, at 4:00 PM in a hybrid meeting format. The Board will hear a presentation about the Santa Rosa Forward project and the first draft of Santa Rosa General Plan 2050 Bicycle and Pedestrian Goals and Policies. Staff will ask for feedback on the goals and policies, as well as the public engagement process. The Preferred Alternative Summary is now ready to review. The document summarizes the draft "Preferred Alternative" that will guide Santa Rosa’s future growth, investment, and change over the next 20+ years.

The City of Santa Rosa has completed its housing element draft and is asking for the public to provide feedback.

The City of Santa Rosa has completed its initial detailed Draft Housing Element, a key component of the City’s general plan update, and is asking for the public to review and provide feedback on the shape of the future of housing in the city. 

The City of Santa Rosa has launched a virtual open house to give community members the opportunity to review, provide feedback, and learn more about the alternatives workbook, as part of the city’s general plan update, all from the comfort of their own homes.

The City of Santa Rosa has kicked off an update of the city’s housing element and is asking for the public’s direct feedback about housing needs of all residents, at all economic levels, while addressing segments of the population with special needs like seniors, persons with disabilities, and veterans. The public can give their feedback now in an online survey and on March 10 during a virtual workshop.

Calling all creative Santa Rosa youth! Do you have an eye for what makes Santa Rosa the special place it is today? Is it a landmark, a site, or special place to simply hang out? Take and show us your best pic, reel, audio clip, or any media you think best encapsulates your favorite part of the City! The best submissions could receive gift cards to your favorite local hangouts and other prizes.
